My name is Duane Johnson. I live in Minneapolis Minnesota. I was in the computer/programming field for over 35 years. Now I am retired. I grew up on a farm in central Minnesota. I have been in Minneapolis since high school graduation.
I have been raising finches since 1975. I have had many kinds of finches but the one I have had the entire time is the Zebra finch. I normally have between 50 and 200 birds. I have had most of the color variations, with the black varieties and orange breast varieties being my favorites.
In 2019 I started with Budgies/Parakeets. The variety of colors are amazing.
